Glory Tabernacle 

The vision of the church is that we will see the Church working in the community with a body of believers who are prepared to move out of the status quo in order to bring change. Glory Tabernacle is a Christian organisation that will be involved in bringing about an awareness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, through preaching, teaching, outreach programs and evangelism. 

 

The church will provide spiritual, social and welfare care to a community of believers, through the leading of the Holy Spirit so that God’s people will be shepherded and brought to a level of Spiritual maturity. One thing that we firmly believe in at Glory Tabernacle that is we “aim to let our lifestyle speak for us”.  Glory Tabernacle will be built upon Godly order, structurally organised to run as a well-groomed body continually self examining itself, being pruned by the Holy Spirit in order to mature, grow and achieve an atmosphere of excellence.

 

Glory Tabernacle will be working with the surrounding borough councils by putting on workshops and programs, which will introduce mentoring, adoption, and fostering, child protection and mental health to the church. It is our aim that the church will take a more active role in some of these programs. We will also be working along side some external agencies providing support and IT training for the socially excluded.

 

Our aim is to interact with the local community and be a voice that speaks loud enough to make changes that will affect our members and the community.

 

We aim to have a multicultural church that will house other ministries that have been birthed out of the vision -  Evangelists, Missionaries, Teachers and Ministers who will go out and strengthen the body of Christ.

 

We aim to visit schools and prisons preaching the Gospel and to have a training school or a facility to offer training and mentoring in IT and sound engineering.
